The biggest night of Hollywood, the 89th Academy Awards. celebrated the biggest and best names in the movie business. The award ceremony was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Casey Affleck won the Best Actor Award for 'Manchester By The Sea' and Emma Stone walked away with the Best Actress Award for her performance in ' La La Land '. The ceremony ended with much drama - 'La La Land' was initially declared as the Best Picture, but it was soon announced that there was an error and the Best Picture Award was, in fact, won by 'Moonlight'. While confusion prevailed for a while, the makers of 'La La Land' graciously left the stage and made way for makers of ' Moonlight '. Damien Chazelle won the Best Director Award for 'La La Land'.

The evening ended with 'La La Land' taking home six awards while 'Moonlight' won three golden statuettes.

The ceremony was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel who took quite a few jabs at the US President Donald Trump.

• Group B – Grade Pay 4600 (Office Job, Posting in Delhi as well as Foreign Posting for 06 years, Also Night Sift Job)
• It is one of the most sought Assistant post under SSC-CGL.

• Candidates applying (excepting Female/SC/ST/PH candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) for Civil Services (Main) Examination are required to pay a fee of Rs.200
• The payment can be done through depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using Net Banking facility of SBI/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card.
• Applicants who opt for ‘Pay by Cash’ mode should print the system generated challan during filling  UPSC Civil Services 2017 Mains Application Form and deposit the fee at the counter of SBI Branch on the next working day only. The mode of payment through challan will end on October 19, 2017 i.e. one day before the closing date; however applicants who have generated their Pay-in-Slip before it is deactivated may pay at the counter of SBI Branch during banking hours on the closing date. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO, /ˈɪsroʊ/) is the space agency of the Government of India headquartered in the city of Bengaluru. Its vision is to "harness space technology for national development", while pursuing space science research and planetary exploration.^[3]


Formed in 1969, ISRO superseded the erstwhile Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR) established in 1962 by the efforts of independent India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, and his close aide and scientist Vikram Sarabhai. The establishment of ISRO thus institutionalised space activities in India.^[4] It is managed by the Department of Space, which reports to the Prime Minister of The Republic of India.


ISRO built India's first satellite, Aryabhata, which was launched by the Soviet Union on 19 April 1975. It was named after the Mathematician Aryabhata. In 1980, Rohini was to become the first satellite to be placed in orbit by an Indian-made launch vehicle, SLV-3. ISRO subsequently developed two other rockets: the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) for launching satellites into polar orbits and the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) for placing satellites into geostationary orbits. These rockets have launched numerous communications satellites and earth observation satellites. Satellite navigation systems like GAGAN and IRNSS have been deployed. In January 2014, ISRO successfully used an indigenous cryogenic engine in a GSLV-D5 launch of the GSAT-14.^[5][6]


ISRO sent one lunar orbiter, Chandrayaan-1, on 22 October 2008 and one Mars orbiter, Mars Orbiter Mission, which successfully entered Mars orbit on 24 September 2014, making India the first nation to succeed on its first attempt, and ISRO the fourth space agency in the world as well as the first space agency in Asia to successfully reach Mars orbit.^[7] Future plans include the development of GSLV Mk III (for the launch of heavier satellites), ULV, development of a reusable launch vehicle, human spaceflight, further lunar exploration, interplanetary probes, a solar spacecraft mission, etc.^[8] On 18 June 2016 ISRO successfully set a record with a launch of 20 satellites in a single payload, one being a satellite from Google.^[9] On 15 February 2017, ISRO launched 104 satellites in a single rocket (PSLV-C37) and created a world record.
