SSC SI & ASI Exam Eligibility Details

SSC SI & ASI (Delhi Police, CAPF, CISF) Exam Eligibility Details: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF Examination Eligibility Details are given below….

Eligibility Conditions:

A. Nationality/ Citizenship: A candidate must be either : 
(a) a citizen of India, or 
(b) a subject of Nepal, or 
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or 
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st
January, 1962 with the intention of 
permanently settling in India, or 
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

B. Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 20-25 years.

Note I: The upper age limit is relaxable for Central Government Civilian Employees as per extant Government order.

C.Essential Qualifications: 
A. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
B. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police only:- Male candidates must possess and also carry a valid Driving License for LMV(Motor cycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

1. There shall be no minimum requirement of chest measurement for Female candidates. 
2. Relaxation in height and chest ( as the case may be ) as mentioned above will be permissible only on production of certificate in the proforma as prescribed

E. Medical standard (For all posts):

Eye sight: 
i. The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e.without wearing of glasses.

ii. The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should 
possess high colour vision. 

iii. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
