SSC GD Constable 2017 Vacancy Details :

The Staff Selection Commission is going to announce the notification for GD Constable Examination to recruit applicants for the post of GD Constable in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen. The whole recruitment process will be completed in four stages including Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), computer based test and at the last the medical test. Those all applicants who qualify written examination will be eligible for the medical test and those candidates who qualify medical test will be appointed as GD Constable Posts. As per the revealed updates, around 57000 vacancies are expected to be released this year. Below, we have given the expected vacancy details.

SSC Constable GD 2017 Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying through online or offline mode. In case candidate input wrong information about eligibility criteria then the application will be cancelled. The application procedure for SSC Constable GD 2017 exam will be in two steps. For part I registration candidates have to fill all the common details such as name, mother's name, father's name, address, email address, mobile number, category and so on. After completing the stage I online form of SSC Constable GD, aspirants have to click on submit button. By doing so, they will get registration number and password for the part II registration form. In part II registration, candidates have to enter educational qualification and then they will have to upload scanned copies of passport size photograph and signature at the definite size.

SSC GD Constable 2017 Application Fee :

As per the SSC examination authority department, the General and OBC Candidates must have to pay Rs. 50/- Only and there is no application fee for the SC/ST/PWD candidates.

SSC Constable GD 2017 Exam Pattern :

The SSC Constable GD 2017 exam will be conducted in three main steps that are:
  1. Physical Standards Test & Physical Efficiency Test
  2. Written Examination (Objective Type) (100 Marks)
  3. Medical Test
The written examination pattern will be based on the newest form. There will be four section of objective type questions. There will be 25 questions for type and each question will carry one marks. For any wrongly answered question, 1/4th mark will be deducted.

SSC Constable GD 2017 Syllabus :

Part A: General Intelligence & Reasoning
Questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.
Part B: General Knowledge and General Awareness
Questions in this section will be mentioned for checking candidate's general awareness. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, and scientific Research etc.
Part C: Elementary Mathematics
Questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc. will be included
Part D: English/Hindi

SSC Constable GD 2017 Selection Procedure :

SSC SI & ASI (Delhi Police, CAPF, CISF) Exam Eligibility Details: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF Examination Eligibility Details are given below….

Eligibility Conditions:

A. Nationality/ Citizenship: A candidate must be either : 
(a) a citizen of India, or 
(b) a subject of Nepal, or 
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or 
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st
January, 1962 with the intention of 
permanently settling in India, or 
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

B. Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 20-25 years.

Note I: The upper age limit is relaxable for Central Government Civilian Employees as per extant Government order.
