Waiting for SSC CGL 2017 Notification? Know Why the CGL Notification is Delayed and NCS many conduct the All the SSC Tier-1 Exams in future 

You, all will be worried, as why the SSC CGL 2017 Notification is delayed. As per the Official SSC Exam Calendar 2017, Notification was to be announced on 11th March, 2017, but till today, there are No Signs of Notification and It looks, it is postponed. But still, there are Doubts as SSC is yet to announce the Postponement Notice of CGL 2017 Exam.

Earlier, there were news, that reason for Delay of SSC CGL Notification is that, SSC wants to change the Exam Pattern of Tier-1 Exam and the File is still pending as the DOPT, Government of India and unless, this fill gets cleared, there will be No Chance of announcement of Notification.

But Now, there is Latest News and that is even verified by an Official Documents, that the Government is Planning to Conduct the Common Entrance Exam for All the posts having same Qualification.

This means, that for all the Non-Gazetted Posts (Group B) for which Qualification is Graduation, there will be Common Entrance exam (Tier-1) conducted by National Career Service Portal (NCS)

What is National Career Service(NCS) Portal ?

NCS is an online portal under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, that provides Job Related services to Job Seekers in India. But, now it looks that NCS will be given a Bigger Responsibility . It is expected that NCS will conduct the Common Entrance Exams for various Government Jobs in India.

The concept of Common Entrance Exams was implemented in 2011 with the Introduction of IBPS Common Exam for Jobs in Public Sector Banks. Just Like IBPS is doing the Recruitment on the behalf of Banks, NCS will do the Recruitment for on the behalf of Central Government Departments. It will only include Non-Gazetted posts.

How National Career Service Portal will Work?

Just Like, other Entrance Exam, NCS, will issue an Advertisement to apply for Common Entrance test.

1) NCS will provide the One Time Registration Facility to Job Seekers to apply for various Government Jobs.

2) NCS will conduct mainly, three Seperate Entrance Exams

10th Pass : Post having basic Qualification as 10th12th Pass: Posts having Qualification of 10+2Graduation: Exam for Graduate Level posts

3) NCS will conduct the Written test (Tier-1) through Computer Based Mode for these exam. Thereafter, it will issue the Scorecards, that will be made available for Students and the Recruitment Agencies Like SSC, RRB.

4) The Scorecards will be valid for 1 years from the Date of declaration of results.

5) Thereafter, candidates, can apply for Tier-2 Exams to be conducted by Recruitment agencies like SSC, RRB etc.

6) Final Selection will be done the basis of Merit in the Tier-2 Examination only. 

Keep Note of the Following.

1) NCS Exams will only determine the Eligibility for Government Jobs. Merely qualifying the NCS test does not entitle your for Final Selection. Moreover, this will only be a Screening test and Marks obtained in this test will not be considered for the Final Selection.

2) NCS will only conduct the Tier-1 of Exams. Tier-2 will be conducted by Recruitment agencies Like SSC, RRB.

Example: NCS Common Exam for Graduate Level Posts

1) NCS will invite application for Common test for Graduate Level Posts

2) You will apply and appear in the NCS Common test and will be issued scorecards, that will be valid for One year

3) Thereafter, Recruitment Agencies Like SSC and RRB will invite applications for Tier-2 Exam, and in the Notification, they will mention that Only such candidates, who have obtained ____ (such ) Marks can apply for the Tier-2 Exam. 

4) If, you have scored required marks, then you can apply for Tier-2 Examination, which will be conducted by Recruitment agencies Like SSC, RRB etc.

5) The Final Selection, will be done your Performance in the Tier-2 and subsequent Exams as specified by the Recruitment Agencies in their Notification.

Note : Just Like Graduate Level Exam, NCS will conduct the Commons test for Posts having Qualification of 10+2 and Matric.

What is the Syllabus for NCS Tier-1 Exam 2017?

Syllabus, will be announced only when the Official NCS Notification gets announced. There is no timeline specified as such, when the NCS Exams will be conducted. 

Once the Notification gets announced, only after that we get to know the Exact Syllabus for NCS Exams.

However, there is a possibility, that there will be same syllabus, as we have in Tier-1 of SSC CGL Exam.

Expected syllabus for NCS Tier-1 Exam is 

1) English
2) Reasoning Or General Intelligence
3) Quantitative Aptitude
4) General Awareness.
